Tips for Meeting the Requirement

- 2The university accepts multiple alternative tests including TOEFL iBT 86, PTE Academic 60, and Duolingo 115. If you are struggling with one IELTS component, consider whether an alternative test format might better suit your strengths.
- 3Applications are accepted October–March. Take IELTS early in this window to give yourself time for retakes. The University of Alberta processes applications on a rolling basis, so earlier submissions with complete scores are advantageous.
