Tips for Meeting the Requirement

  1. 1The Holland Scholarship requires IELTS 6.0 overall with 5.5 in each band. This is relatively accessible, but individual Dutch universities may set higher requirements for specific programmes.
  2. 2Since the Holland Scholarship is a one-time payment, consider combining it with other university-specific scholarships. Apply early, as the scholarship is awarded on a first-come, first-served basis at many institutions.
  3. 3Dutch universities are increasingly competitive for international students. An IELTS score above the minimum (6.5+) strengthens both your scholarship and admission application.
