Can I score an essay without creating an account?
Yes. The Writing Task 2 scorer on this page and the short Speaking diagnostic return a practice estimate without signup. Reading, Listening and saved practice require an account. Public diagnostics have usage limits and are not full IELTS mock exams.
How many passages are in IELTS Academic Reading?
The Academic Reading test contains three passages. General Training Reading also has three sections, with different source material and progression.
Which Writing Task 2 criteria are used?
Task Response, Coherence and Cohesion, Lexical Resource, and Grammatical Range and Accuracy.
Does practice guarantee a particular band improvement?
