What is free and what requires an account
The first public diagnostics are designed to demonstrate value before payment. Some follow-up practice requires an account so attempts, feedback and progress can be saved. The interface states that transition before it occurs.
Free does not mean unlimited. Rate limits protect scoring reliability and operating cost. No payment card is required for the public tools on this page.
Use a free result responsibly
A practice estimate is not an official IELTS result and cannot satisfy a university, visa or regulator. Confirm the target with the decision-maker, practise under credible conditions and use several comparable attempts before making a high-stakes readiness decision.
