About Taiwan ICDF International Higher Education Scholarship
The Taiwan ICDF International Higher Education Scholarship supports students from partner developing countries to pursue undergraduate, master's, or doctoral degrees at Taiwanese universities. Funded by Taiwan's International Cooperation and Development Fund, it covers tuition, a monthly living allowance, airfare, insurance, and textbook costs.

Tips for Meeting the Requirement
- 1.Taiwan ICDF requires IELTS Academic 6.0 overall with 5.5 in each component. Focus on achieving consistent scores across all bands — the component minimums are as important as the overall score.
- 2.Apply between January and March. Since IELTS scores are valid for two years, you can take the test well in advance and retake if needed before the deadline.
- 3.Research your chosen programme's language of instruction carefully. While many programmes are English-taught, some may require basic Mandarin. Demonstrating Mandarin ability alongside IELTS can strengthen your application.
